Colby Roedl and Liz Sudkamp qualified for the IESA state meet at today's sectional! Colby placed 5th at Sectionals with a new PR. Liz finished 12th overall with a new PR. Ivy Brummer placed 23rd and Paige Wolke 25th. Graham Braden, Clayton Shellenbarger, Eden Fitch, Ivy Brummer, and Natalie Peters all finished their season with new PR’s. The girls team finished 5th overall in the 15 team race.

Congratulations to Colby Roedl on placing 2nd at the LEIC Cross Country Meet yesterday! This past weekend he also placed 16th at the Monticello Invite. Lizzie Sudkamp, Paige Wolke, Eden Fitch, Audrey Edwards, Adam Wolke, and Clayton Shellenbarger ran new PRs. Way to go!

Cumberland Middle School will hold a player/parent meeting on Thursday, October 10, at 4:45 PM in the grade school cafeteria. This meeting is open to any 7th or 8th grade boy and their parent/guardian who wishes to play basketball this year. The middle school cross country team competed in their final home meet yesterday. The 8th graders were recognized at the start of the meet. Overall, Paige Wolke finished 13th, Jacob Osborne, 17th, Lizzie Sudkamp, 19th, and Ivy Brummer, 20th. Paige Wolke, Eden Fitch, Ivy Brummer, Marley Bierman, Audrey Edwards, Aubrey Weaver, Grady Cash, Alan Phipps, and Collin Oakley had new PRs. Everyone ran a great race through the swampy conditions!
