A favorite concession stand item was the theme of today's homecoming spirit day! The students had some great costumes!

Today in Mrs. Lee’s class, the students talked with people in Germany, Switzerland, Florida, Portugal, Atlanta, Georgia, and Tennessee using Google Meet and FaceTime! They asked each person what time it was where they were and then tried to figure out their location on the map.
The class was amazed that it was 7:00 PM and dark in Germany while it was 12:00 noon here! Learning about time zones was so much fun!
A huge thank you to everyone who took time out of their day (and evening!) to call in and help the students learn. You made the lesson extra special! 💫

The Effingham Daily News asked students to write in about their teachers for World Teacher Day. Nevaeh did just that! She wrote that her aide, Mrs. Christy Boswell, is the kindest person and would do anything for her. Mrs. Boswell has been working with Nevaeh for four years. Nevaeh appreciates Mrs. Boswell's help and considers her a friend. Thank you, Mrs. Boswell, for being a special person in Nevaeh's life!
