
The CHS boys basketball awards will be on Monday, March 20, at 6:00 PM in the high school cafeteria.

The LPC All-Conference boys basketball teams have been released! Gavin Hendrix has been named first team all-conference, and Trevin Magee is honorable mention all-conference. Congratulations!!

Cumberland Drama will present The Wizard of Oz on Friday, March 10, at 7 PM, Saturday, March 11, at 7 PM, and Sunday, March 12, at 2 PM at The Toledo Christian Church. Tickets are $8.00 and will be available after March 1st at both school offices, the Toledo Democrat, and Greenup & Toledo First Neighbor Bank.


Cumberland High School will host Freshman Orientation on Tuesday, March 14, at 6:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. All incoming freshmen and parents are encouraged to attend to learn about classes and class schedules for the 2023/2024 school year. Due to a water main break in Greenup, there will be no school for Cumberland CUSD #77 tomorrow, February 27. We are under a 24 hour boil order. We will use an emergency day.

This weekend, the high school Scholastic Bowl team placed 1st at the Masonic Sectional. In the championship round, they defeated Casey-Westfield 220-190. The team now advances to Masonic State at Bloomington High School on March 4. Congratulations!


Congratulations to Noah Carl on his 6th place finish at the IHSA State Wrestling Finals!

Congratulations to Ty Bradley on signing his Letter of Intent to play football at Aurora University today!


Sawyer Keyser, a student in the woodworking program at CHS, built a base cabinet for a microwave in the FACS classroom with the assistance of Mr. Owens. The cabinet is functional yet beautiful, and it allows for additional storage space.



Last week, Biology 2 students worked on their pipetting skills in preparation for their biotechnology unit.
