
Tickets are now on sale for the Little Shop of Horrors musical at the school offices. The performances are on March 14 at 7 PM, March 15 at 7 PM. and March 16 at 2 PM. We hope to see you there!


Mrs. Walk has some fun activities planned for Read Across America week! Next week, students can join in on the fun by participating in the dress up days. This is an optional activity, and students must follow the school handbook.

The elementary students had all sorts of Valentine's Day fun today!











The elementary students are getting the chance to visit the Starlab this week during their specials time!




Reminder: School will dismiss at 12:01 on Friday, February 14, for a teacher in-service. The schools will be closed on Monday, February 17, in observance of Presidents' Day.


Congratulations to the February Raiders of the Month! These students were chosen based on being prepared for class, following expectations, and having exemplary behavior. Thank you for being respectful, responsible, and reliable Raiders!


Beginning Monday, the elementary and middle school will be offering strawberry milk in addition to chocolate and white milk on a trial basis.

The second grade classrooms are participating in Hearts Across America. They have received Valentine's cards from 37 states, Japan, St. Thomas Island, and Puerto Rico! They are hoping to receive a card from all 50 states. The remaining states are Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Louisana, West Virginia, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Vermont. If you know someone from these states, the second graders would love to hear from them! This has been a fun learning project for the kids!

Cumberland Drama will hold its fundraiser breakfast and silent auction on Saturday, February 8, from 7-10 AM at the Toldeo Christian Church. Hope to see you there!


Second grade students celebrated the 100th day of school with a Glow Day!










Mrs. Nave's second grade students celebrated the 100th day of school by doing marshmallow and toothpick STEM activities, math games, and making a 100 day picture craft with a persuasive letter!











Mrs. A. McElravy's class is studying geology and the causes of earthquakes. They built a structure with marshmallows and toothpicks to see if it could withstand a Jello earthquake!





Today is National Compliment Day! Giving and receiving a compliment can boost your happiness and confidence. Mrs. High's 4th graders spent some time today passing out compliments to classmates and teachers!



The kindergarten classes celebrated 100 days of school today! They visited several stations focused around the number 100!











The Project HELP Preschool program will be offering free developmental screens for 2-5 year olds in the Cumberland school district on March 20 and 21. We will start taking screening appointments on February 27.
