The elementary and middle school's Tattoo a Teacher event was a hit! Seventy-eight students chose 238 temporary tattoos for 18 brave staff members to wear for the day. The $508 collected will sweeten our monthly birthday celebrations with special treats!

First grade students in Mr. Miller and Miss Phillips' PE class had a great time playing a lively game called “Turkeys in the Haystack” today! One student started as the hunter and called out a color. All students wearing that color had to sprint to a different “haystack” (mat) before being tagged. If they were caught, they joined the hunter for the next round. The students had a blast with this fast-paced game!

Mrs. McClellan’s class began their day with a special 6-7 celebration for the sixty-seventh day of school! Students predicted how many times they would be able to do each task in 67 seconds and then tested their hypothesis. Some of the tasks included jumping jacks, hopping on one foot, and saying the alphabet.

Students in Mrs. Figgins' class honored veterans by creating thoughtful Veterans Day cards for members of the Cumberland County community. Students also produced agamographs. These artworks included written reflections about veterans. The students included photographs of family members who have served in the armed forces, recognizing their sacrifice and dedication. The fourth graders celebrated at a Medieval Festival today! This was a culminating event for their ELA Middle Ages unit.
