Cumberland Middle School will host 5th grade orientation on Wednesday, August 9 from 6-7 pm. Parents/guardians and their 5th grader will receive important information from their teachers and can ask questions about their new educational adventure in the middle school. This is an optional event. It is strongly encouraged to find supervision for any children other than your 5th grader as space will be limited in the classrooms during this time. Cumberland High School is proud to partner with Lake Land College and SBLHS EMT to provide a basic EMT dual credit class. Students will receive 7.5 hours of dual credit through Lake Land College. The class cost is still being worked out, but it will cover background checks, drug screening, and clinical tracking through SBLHS. Interested students should email Mrs. Plummer at splummer@cusd77.org. Please do not hesitate if you are 17 years old, entering your senior year of high school, and are interested in the class. This class is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The first of two school and sports physical dates scheduled at the Toledo Clinic is this Wednesday, June 7 from 3-6 PM. Appointments are required. Please call the clinic for an appointment.
The Cumberland Backpack Ministry will start Summer Distribution on Monday, June 5, 2023. Bags can be picked up at the Toledo United Methodist Church located at 213 East Madison Street.
Pick-up times are 9:30-10:30 a.m. and 5:00-5:30 p.m. on Mondays throughout the summer.
