
The Cumberland Middle School 7th grade girls basketball team will enter regional play on Saturday, November 16, at noon at Paris-Mayo against Newton-Jasper County.


The book fair is coming! Books will be available to purchase Monday, November 11 - Friday, November 15. Elementary students may bring money with them on their library day, and
middle school students can shop during homeroom or during 8th hour. The book fair will be open to families after the Veterans Day program on Monday, Nov. 11, from 11 AM - 3:30 PM.
An e-wallet option is available that allows you to load money to an online account so students do not have to handle money. Use the QR code to set up an e-wallet or order books online to have them shipped directly to you!

The middle school cross country team held its awards ceremony and meal recently. Award winners were: MVP - Colby Roedl and Liz Sudkamp, Most Improved - Collin Oakley and Audrey Edwards, and Raider Award - Clayton Shellenbarger and Paige Wolke. Congratulations!

Cumberland Middle School will honor the 8th grade girls basketball players and their parents on Thursday, November 14, in between games. This is a change in the original schedule.

Join us to honor our veterans at Cumberland's Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 11, at 9:15 AM in the high school gym. Rolls and Coffee will be served to visitors beginning at 8:15 AM. We hope to see you there!

Today, Mrs. Gilbert's science class modeled the scale of our Solar system!






The 6th grade students in Mrs. D. McElravy’s social studies class completed a STEM challenge to build the tallest pyramid as a culminating activity for their Egypt unit!








On Thursday, October 31, the elementary and middle school students can dress as their favorite book characters. Students should be able to move easily in their costumes and should not have any props or masks that would cause a distraction. This is an optional activity.

The Cumberland Middle School cross country team will hold their end of season awards on Sunday, November 3, at 4:00 PM at the Salem United Methodist Church. Runners and their families are invited to attend and enjoy a meal, as well.
