For game day last week, Mrs. Kemper's 1st grade class and Mrs. Beard's 2nd grade class partnered up for some extra fun! The 2nd graders taught the 1st graders two math games. Mrs. Kemper blew their minds by "reading" minds! Then, they went outside for a game of Human Knot. The kids enjoyed figuring out how to undo their knots!

Yesterday, Judy Meislahn and Randy Hurt, from the Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District, visited the third graders and talked about the importance of planting trees. Each third grader received a tree to take home and plant. We appreciate their time speaking with the third grade and their sponsorship of third and fourth grade nature field trips.
