Robinson

Students in Fellowship of Christian Athletes met on December 8 and heard from Jordan Robinson, a former Cumberland High School Alum. Jordan spoke to the students about being intentional and not living their lives in fear. He encouraged the students to find a balance in their lives, physically, mentally, and spiritually! He also encouraged them to not be afraid to fail. “We are all going to fail, it’s what we do after we fail that matters! As an athlete and in life, you get out what you put in.”

“Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.” -Lao-Tze

Students enjoyed breakfast that was provided by Brenda Jones.

The next meeting will be Thursday, January 12th.
