Our 5th graders had a fantastic time today learning all about 3D printing! Scott Rhine from Lake Land College visited to share his expertise, surprising the students with their very own 3D-printed souvenirs, along with hands-on games and models for our classrooms. Afterward, the class walked over to the high school to see a 3D printer in action while Mrs. Gibson highlighted some of the exciting projects currently underway.

On Thursday, September 17th, Cumberland Schools will be coming together to support Mae’s Miracle by participating in a Hat Day & Wear Pink Day!

Students and staff are encouraged to wear a hat and/or wear pink to show their support. We ask everyone who participates to bring $1 or more to donate to Mae’s Miracle.

September 17th is Leigh Syndrome Awareness Day. Mae is the niece of our 7th grade math teacher, Mrs. Wermert, and she is living with Leigh Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.

We hope our Cumberland family will come together to show Mae and her family just how much support, love, and encouragement they have behind them! Every dollar helps, and every person who participates makes a difference.
