Jeff Kemper at FCA

Students in Fellowship of Christian Athletes met on February 9. Jeff Kemper spoke to the students about his life-long struggle with alcohol, which began at the age of 15. After hitting rock bottom at 48, he said that God brought him to the program of recovery, and the program brought him to God. After getting honest with himself, he decided to stop allowing alcohol to isolate him and run his life. He encouraged the students to face everything and never hide or run in fear - “Don’t lose hope or faith, because you are never alone!”

Students enjoyed breakfast that was provided by Bradbury Free Methodist Church.

The next meeting will be Thursday, February 23rd.
