This year's Patriots Pen Essay winners for Cumberland were Amber Lewis, 6th grade, Alaina Tipsword, 7th grade, Emma Light, 8th Grade, and Isaac Brown, high school. The VFW Post 4598 invites our students to compete in this nationwide contest annually. This essay competition gives students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme. The essay theme this year was "My Pledge to our Veterans."
