The CHS Scholastic Bowl team traveled to Georgia to compete in the NAQT Nationals last week. The students had a very successful and long weekend, ranking 236 out of 336 teams. They gained valuable experience competing against high schools all over the country.
Not only did the students participate in the NAQT National Tournament, but they also had the opportunity to explore the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. The weekend was a wonderful experience for all!
From the team:
The Cumberland Scholastic Bowl Team was overwhelmed with gratitude for the phenomenal support we received as we prepared for our journey to NAQT Nationals in Georgia on May 23–26. Thanks to the generosity of the local businesses, community members, and organizations listed, our team had the incredible opportunity to represent our community on a national stage—an experience we will never forget.
Their donations did more than help us travel; they helped us grow as students, teammates, and competitors. With the money raised, we were also fortunate enough to visit the World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium—memorable highlights of our trip.
A special thank you goes out to the parents and family members who supported us during the tournament. This trip would not have been possible without each of you, and we are truly thankful to have such a strong and supportive community behind us.
Thank you for believing in us and for being part of this amazing adventure.
