Forest Watch 2004 Report

The 2004 fall Ecology class began this Forest Watch Project in the fall.  We first went out and practiced identifying trees to prepare us for the real observations that would be taking place in Wade’s woods.  Once we started going out to Wade’s woods, we did numerous procedures to tell us different things about the woods, such as: tree abundance, forest stability, ecological importance value, and many more.  A special thanks goes to Kathy Bradley and John Menke who helped Mrs. Starwalt and the class collect data for this project.  Click on the links below to view our final results from this project.
